Laura Barritt
Laura's journey with Stage One began at the tender age of 4, when she took center stage as Alice in their 2012 production of *Lost in Wonderland*. Since then, she’s become a familiar face in all of Stage One's beloved pantomimes, bringing to life a range of memorable characters—from the adventurous Dick Whittington to the mischievous Red in *Once Upon a Panto*, and even Smee in *Peter Pan & Hook*. She’s sparkled as Fairy Sparkle in *Jack and the Beanstalk*, brought humor as Wishee in *Aladdin*, and embodied royalty as Dandini in *Cinderella*.
Beyond her work with Stage One, Laura showcased her talent at the prestigious Soho Theatre as part of the National Theatre Connections programme.
Her passion for performance led her to graduate from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with First Class Honours in BA Drama, Applied Theatre, and Education. During her degree, Laura took her craft on the road—performing in Theatre in Education shows across schools in Oldham and co-leading a project in Mumbai, India, where she delivered workshops to students, staff, and community groups.
Today, Laura continues to share her love for drama, teaching at Stage One and even hosting children’s parties, creating magical moments for young ones. For Laura, Stage One has been more than just a theatre company—it’s been an inspiring and transformative part of her life.
