Emily Wershof

Teaching Assistant - Dance & Drama

Since the age of four years, Emily has trained in dance; covering ballet, jazz, modern, tap, contemporary and hip-hop. She has appeared in numerous amateur Musical Theatre and Drama productions, such as ‘Sweet Charity’, ‘Fame’, ‘Chicago’, ‘A Talk in The Park’, ‘Columbinus’, and not forgetting the unique shows produced and choreographed by Stage One Performing Arts School.

Emily recently obtained a Distinction in Intermediate Modern Theatre, Distinction in LAMDA Grade 7, and a Distinction in Trinity Musical Theatre Grade 8.

In 2012, she obtained three A-levels after completing two years of education at ‘Arts Educational Schools London’, studying practical and academic areas in Dance, Drama and Art. During the two year course, Emily studied plays and was directed in a number of productions. Furthermore, she participated in dance shows and got involved in extra dance classes, which opened up learning the theory behind Performing Arts, as well as the physical aspects involved. Invaluable learning also included new skills in creating and directing plays, and choreography. Through these experiences, Emily now enjoys creating her own material.
