Rose McGoven

Stage One Assistant / Student teacher
Rose began her journey at Stage One Theatre School at just three years old and has been part of the Stage One family ever since. Over the years, she has built a wealth of experience across performance, training, and examinations, creating lifelong memories and friendships along the way.
She has been encouraged from an early age to develop her skills through LAMDA examinations and is currently preparing for Grade 5 in both Musical Theatre and Acting. Alongside this, Rose has competed in a range of competitions, including the Essex Speech, Drama and Singing Championships, where she was awarded two bronze medals.
Rose has performed in numerous productions, with her role as Matilda in Matilda the Musical standing out as a particularly memorable and rewarding experience. As a younger student, she also took part in pantomimes, where she enjoyed learning from older performers and aspired to one day take on a teaching role herself.
For over a year now, Rose has been working as an assistant at Stage One. She is passionate about supporting younger students, sharing her own experiences, and helping them grow in confidence, skill, and enjoyment of the performing arts.
